The book explains lucidly the paradigm shift which has been brought about in the Companies Act, 2013 as compared to the 1956 Act in the matter of conducting meetings, use of audio visual means for attending meetings etc. Implications of amendments made by SEBI to the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (LODR) Regulations, 2015 made in the year 2021 some portion of which have prospective application from April 1, 2022 have also been considered to the extent they impact the functioning of the Board of directors and the Committees constituted.
